SPARTAN CHEERLEADERS BRING 8 TROPHIES HOME FROM UCA CHEER CAMP!
The Spartan Cheerleaders participated in the Universal Cheerleaders Association Camp at Great Wolf Lodge on July 11 -14. They learned new material for the upcoming season, as well as competed against other high school squads from Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. All three squads earned Superior ribbons and Spirit awards for various evaluations and overall participation throughout the week.
Tarah Anderson, Maranda Arabie, Alex Brooks, Ashley Evans and Katy Johnston earned their spot on the UCA All-American Squad. Sydney Tittle, Bailey Tittle, Jordin Taylor, Alex Brooks and Bailey Douglas were recognized for their leadership, spirit, commitment to excellence, kindness and motivation as a cheerleader or mascot with the “Pin It Forward Award.” On the final day, Spartan cheerleaders competed in “Camp Champs” and “Champions on the Field” for trophies and ribbons. The squads did an amazing job and brought home eight trophies!
